What Can I Do To Reduce My Carbon Footprint?

August 29, 2011 | Uncategorized

Everyone needs to do their part to reduce their carbon footprint. It takes lots of people doing little things to make a big difference. Gas is one of the biggest ways to make a change. Often people avoid taking public transportation because they have a negative connotation about it but anyone who uses it regularly will comment that it is very comfortable and easy to use. Of course not everyone lives close enough to a schedule bus or train line, so that is not always an option.

Carpooling is another way to make a change in the carbon footprint. It takes a little effort, but not only does it save money, it provides an interesting way to get to work or other places people go together as a group. Most people are so use to driving and having a car available, they never think of ways to use other means of transportation. Walking, riding a bike or scooter are all ways to start the change. It needs to happen one person at a time. If everyone makes a little change, big things will happen, but everyone needs to believe in the cause and want to save the planet for future generations to enjoy
