The LINK PROGRAM

What is the LINK?

The LINK Program provides FREE (to the customer) rides on connecting CDTA routes with privately operated commuter services provided by:

Adirondack Trailways

Columbia County

Northway Express

Schoharie County Transit

Yankee Trails

Brown Coach

How do customers get LINK day passes?

LINK passes are only available from bus operators on the commuter line.

Are there any restrictions on the use of LINK day passes?

LINK day passes will be valid only on the day of issue.

What are CDTA drivers that suspect fraudulent use of LINK day passes instructed to do?

The serial number of the LINK pass indicates which private operator issued the pass. If a CDTA driver suspects fraudulent use of the LINK program, the day pass will be collected manually, with the circumstances noted. CDTA management then follows up with the private operator to address the problem. A pattern of fraudulent use can result in suspension of a commuter operator from the program.
